This should go over real well. Heard this on tv news yesterday.

No way the flames of justice will be fanned by this.

frick this guy

All he does is pour gas on the fire

How do the black community not see through his schemes, he rakes in the dough on events like this

In a sane world the Brown family would tell him to go piss up a rope and GTFO but instead for some reason they see him as a figure that gives them credibility to their cause

They are being used and don't even know it

I discredit any group who allows Sharpton to speak to/for them. Same with Jessie Jackson (and Glenn Beck, for that matter)

Wonder how much he's getting paid for that?

His speech in the church last week was pretty brutal. He's going to make a lot of money off of this.

Until the black community actively stands up against people like Sharpton, we'll never see improvement in race relations. I have no respect or sympathy for people that run to him for help. He and his like are a cancer to our country because in the end, they promote division and inflame situations just so they line their pockets with more money.

These things are almost scripted at this point. I mean, there may literally be a script with an assigned part for each key player.

Racist Thug eulogizes Big Thug while Little Thugs cries in the front row being comforted by A.G. Thug who is at the funeral at the behest of Muslim Thug.

Obama may as well do it.

We're debating semantics here. Sharpton obviously has a legitimate following. Enough to warrant President Obama to speak at the National Action Network's convention this past year. I think its kind of ignorant to say he is merely an outlier within the black community.

Yes, there are wackos on both sides but Sharpton does what he can to be a player instead of merely commentating. If there are groups/individuals who want Sharpton to stop what he's doing, that's great...but we don't hear about them. So would it be better to say they should be doing a better job and that those black leaders that do draw attention should be more proactive in situations like this to prevent Sharpton from stealing the mic?

Very appropriate. The start of a well-deserved union, on their common journey to hell.
