That's truth as well. It was agony watching our offense that year!

What more do you or the media want? Miles has already said both will play. Jennings is going to start the game. It will play out on the field as it should.

I think the coaches have an idea and both should play especially in 2nd and 3rd games.

For the record, I believe Wisconsin has not announced a QB starter either and they have a returning one.

That's always been a stupid comment. When you have two guys you feel equally comfortable with playing QB, you have two QBs and not none.

We didn't have a dual system in 2011. We had a QB change starting with game number nine.

That's too simplistic. Again, we had A LOT of help from turnovers and special teams in 2011. I wouldn't say our dual QB system with JL and JJ was the reason we were successful. We thrived in 2011 in spite of our QBs, not because of them. Dual QB systems rarely work. Remember the old adage: "if you have two QBs, you really have none."

True, but it wasn't because it was a dual QB system, it was because both QBs were below average.

We were kinda forced to a dual QB system because of JJ's suspension but I don't think we would have gone undefeated if we would have stuck with either one all season.

I don't want to bring up the JJ v JL debate. I'm just saying I don't think a dual QB is all that bad. The coaches seemed to have done the best with what they had that year.

Remember the old adage: "competition breeds excellence?" It's not a big deal that the starter hasn't been named yet. The coaches know what they are doing.

If you go ahead and choose a guy he gets more reps with the 1's and better preparation going into the opener. Seems like prolonging this hampers both guys and ends up hurting the guy who gets the nod.

The right choice in 2 or 3 weeks is better than the wrong choice now.

Cameron said that his job is to get both of them ready for the season. LSU has rarely gone through an entire season with one QB.

Since it looks like both QBs will be running quite a bit, Cameron is right that both need to be ready. Fall camp is the time to get both of them ready.

I bet it will be a 75/25 split between Jennings and Harris.

I guarantee the players already know who the starter is, and probably have known for a little while now. This is classic Les Miles "playing things close to the chest."

yeah, I don't think it is going to matter. Les has no problem running a two qb system
