Yep.
They said this was a "small" one because I just started, but it is not at all small, so I am a happy lady. Couldn't have come at a poorer time for me.
Apparently I'm the best they've had in this position so far, and the person here before me was here for years.

I had to demote someone and change them to hourly yesterday cause they suck and get here late/leave early every day

Yikes. My coworker told me they once had an employee who was habitually late. One time, they scheduled a mandatory meeting. The employees didn't know, but this mandatory meeting is when the bonuses would be given out.
Well, habitually late guy called 2 hours after he was supposed to be at work and asked if he could still come in.
Supervisor said "yeah, to turn in your stuff"
He was fired on bonus day, and bonus was never given to him.

I fired the manager at one of my places on Monday. Well, he actually fired himself. I just filled out the paperwork and let him know not to come in any more. Still sucks to do.
