I struggle with Peterson vs. McCoy even though McCoy is treated as the consensus better player this year...honestly, I'm thinking of going with lacy with the 2 pick even if I can't trade back
in a ppr I take Peterson though, sproles is going to hog some receptions from McCoy and Peterson is underrated as a receiver and he's playing in a norv turner offense...so long as he isn't hurt and his team isn't getting toasted (both concerns for me) he's going to put up insane numbers

Im in the fortunate position to have Lacy as my keeper for a 6th, then the AP/shady choice at 1. Cant go wrong either way.

Year of tape? Charles had only one game under 15 points in PPR this past season. No one could stop him. Jamaal has been a 1,000 yard back in four of the last five seasons. The only exception was the year he tore his ACL in week 2. He has a career YPC of 5.6. In fact, his 2013 YPC of 5.0 is the worst of his career. Charles is not magically going to be stonewalled.
Who gives a shite about the WR core? Charles reeled in 70 receptions on 104 targets. Andy Reid fricking loves throwing to his versatile halfbacks. Only 32 receivers in the NFL had more targets than Charles. He had the same number of targets as Keenan Allen. Allen is going in the third round as a high WR2.
Yeah, Charles will probably not score 19 TD's like he did in 2013, but he amassed 1,980 total last season and he sat out week 17. God mode Adrian Peterson in 2012 totaled 2,314 yards and 13 TD's.
2013 Charles averaged 123.75 yards per game. 2012 Adrian averaged 136.12 yards per game. I am not saying Charles is better, but he was only 13 yards behind per game than Peterson in what was one of the most historic rushing season in NFL seasons. Plus, this does not even account for the fact that Charles is one of the front runners to lead all RB's in receptions.
Come on dude. How is Charles a laughable pick in the slightest? He could be worse than 2013 and still be the top back. In 2013, Charles was the top back by 41.3 points in PPR and 45.3 points in standard.

he's less established but with all of the bullshite he endured last year, look at his numbers
and he's the 5th rated back in fantasy sports, so I'm not overvaluing him too much by taking him #2

I would hope I pick third or fourth so you can avoid the decision to be honest.
As of now, I think I have a tossup between Peterson and Charles at one. McCoy at three. Forte at four. I would be happy with any.

I think McCoy's foot is enough for you to lean Charles. I know they are saying nothing, but the words "turf toe", no matter how minor, worried me a tad

That was my thought process.
I pick second, so it eliminates some of the stress, but I'll still have to choose between the remaining two, whether that's McCoy/Charles or McCoy/AP or Charles/AP

Yeah I was going to mention the turf toe, but how concerning can it be if they aren't even sitting him in the preseason games? Still could be a weekly headache to just avoid I guess
