You did a little more than that. You basically said he is a horrible representation of military service men.
Since you don't know the man at all, who the frick are you to say that? Is it so far of a stretch to think someone that served might have more conviction than a reporter?

The fact that I don't know the reporter other than him being capture and based on Darth's e-persona I can say with confidence that I don't know who has/had more conviction. Based on the odds, he wouldn't know what he'd do in the situation and he'd likely do the same barring being killed trying to escape. By all means keep defending Rambo though.
