that's what has cracked me up with the pundits mention a controversy. It's a battle, there can't really be a controversy before a game has been played.
It really doesn't matter to me, but assuming they're pretty close I'd give Jennings the first snaps. You'd like a true freshman to get the feel of the game/environment on the sidelines for a couple of series.
