For you whiners about the Ice Bucket challenge, check this out

This is the man spending his last days bringing this disease into the spotlight. Stop all your damn whining about people bringing attention to a debilitating disease, even if they bring a little attention to themselves.
I went to school with Kevin. An All-Pro, All SEC player has been reduced to someone that can barely speak by this disease. If a few drama queens help raise money and just ONE person is helped by it, then more power to them.
You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

The problem is you automatically get turned into an a-hole if you don't do it. Getting called out for anything isn't a great idea to get support, although this is a good way to guilt trip people into putting up money. This is like the homeless guy on the street corner except if you don't give him a dollar, everyone on social media will know. ALS research is a great cause and is one of the big causes my fraternity gave/gives to, but we didn't guilt people into putting up money for it.

note: helping at a soup kitchen or women's/homeless shelter anonymously = awesome
