Well no, its a lot worse. This is just registering voters-- which is basically always a massive positive, that was the exploitation a massive tragedy by a bunch of people who couldn't give a shite about NYC 5 minutes prior to the plane hitting tower 1.


Seriously, though what is negative about this-- its registering voters, how is that wrong unless what you really don't like is more of "those people" voting. Actually sharing in the political process makes people have a greater stake in the government and feel less alienated from it-- if a people feel that their elected representatives actually represent them they're a lot less likely to irrationally lash out with anger towards them.
