I believe that the explanation can be traced back to the Bible, and Noah's three sons: Ham, Shem, and Japheth. I think I spelled their names correctly, but anyway. If I remember correctly, Ham is the father of the African nation, Japheth is the father of the Caucasian/European nation, and Shem is the father of the Asian nation.
All races/nationalities can be traced to these three men. Native Americans originally came from Asia, so they are the descendants of Shem. Hispanic/Latino peoples of Central and South America are a mixture of Asian/European, being descendants of indigenous Americans and Spanish/Portuguese.
So that's how the races came to be, from the three sons of Noah. Because, Noah and his family were the only surviving humans after the Great Flood, so they repopulated the Earth. I know everyone will not agree with this, but this is what I believe. I hope it helped answer your question!

Hey, most of you guys may think it's crazy, but it's what I believe, and if you're a Christian who believes in the Bible, you'll understand why I feel this way. I mean, it makes sense to me. There were three sons, who were the fathers of three distinct nations. There has been a lot of mixing between the races, but the fact is, there were and still are only three that all derive from. Think about it this way, look at the seven continents:
Africa- (descendants of Ham)
Asia- (descendants of Shem)
Europe- (descendants of Japheth)
Those three continents is where human life began and from where people extended outwards.
Australia- (mixture of African, Asian, and European)
The Americas (North, Central, and South)- The first inhabitants of the Americas were people from Asia who became known as Native Americans. All the Indian tribes of North America, plus the Aztec, Inca, and Maya of Central and South America all came from ASIA. African and European people later came to North, Central, and South America.
Antarctica- Well, obviously no one came from Antarctica, but technically it is the seventh continent, so there ya go.
So call me crazy, down-vote this as much as y'all want, but it's what I believe and I feel it does explain a lot!
