How many times he was shot. The chief was evasive when asked this question. Who the shooter was. There we no press conferences. Even if you can't release specific info, you need to hold regular press conferences on an event of this magnitude. They released the burglary video at the same time they released the cop's name....they appeared to "protect their own" first and foremost in this whole thing. In fact, it looked like it was cops vs. citizens for several days.

i honestly don't think they knew until the autopsy, and they can't discuss the official police one yet

even in the secondary autopsy, it's somewhat of a guess

well there are legitimate reasons for this. after what happened to zimmerman (again, thanks to the mob of idiots), you're likely not going to see the name released if at all possible going forward. the mob is the reason for that

but how much of that is due to the citizens creating that conflict themselves? a large portion is their own fault

It would not have mattered if they had press conferences every ten minutes. This thing was out of control already. Lines had been drawn and the conflict set.
