He needs to adjust to the speed of the game. I'm afraid Cleveland is going to rush him like they always do with their QBs

Better QBs don't seem to have an issue with it

I'm actually rooting for Manziel to succeed. I want more of thew newer generation QB's to start making their mark as playoff and Super Bowl contenders.

Dont hold your breathe. Unless said QB has a legit defense on their team.

What do you mean? It took Peyton a year to adjust. Same thing with favre. And they both stayed in college. QBs starting from day one as a rookie is not the rule

I know it's only preseason and he's a rookie but there was one bootleg play where he took off running and deangelo hall closed in on him like a missile. The speed of the pro game kills these runners. Will be interesting to watch him play but he's definitely not a sure thing like Andrew Luck.

That play was broken from the start. Ryan Kerrigan didn't bite on the zone-read and it forced Manziel to run East/West instead of North/South.

I understand if some may voice skepticism regarding Johnny's ability to consistently get yards on the ground, but that was a poor play to analyze.

Anyone else see Manziel give the Skins bench the finger?

Manziel was caught on camera very clearly just now flipping off the redskins sideline. What a count. And he is playing like a pile of dogshit.

Ok. The simple fact that every post you made in this thread is defensive. Homer Glasses. Did you just see the big white linebacker run him down? He's quick, but not fast enough to play like he did in college. His arm won't beat any decent NFL Ds.

The pros will break his arse if he continues to act that way.

Too bad cameras caught that gesture because the Redskins sideline was jawing at Manziel each time he was in the game. Two way street. Unfortunately for Manziel, his every moved is under a microscope in comparison to the Redskins, who no one gives a shite about.

He's the QB. He has to act like a leader.

Seriously? Don't be such a pussy. Everyone on the field talks shite. You don't flip the other teams bench off when you are in the middle of the field on Monday Night Field. Come on.

Opposing team's sidelines never talk shite.

Ever.

Oh. Wait...

As I said. He needs to adjust to the speed of the game. I'm not saying he will. Just pointing out what he needs to do to succeed and also pointing out that he isnt a 100% no doubt bust after one poor performance in his second game as a professional

He looks very flustered. He's not having fun.

Nice completion there.

Shut up with that shite. This is the NFL. Players talk so much trash that sportsmanship has become a point of emphasis for the first time ever in pro football.

Flipping someone off doesn't make anyone less of a leader.
