The NFL doesn't want to deal with another crooked/broken goal post. This revealed a potential hazard or serious game delaying possibility and they took precautions to prevent it from happening.
Just takes one goal post completely coming down to frick everyone's morning up.

Here is video of the ground crew fixing the goal post. No way did it take anywhere close to 25 minutes to fix it. Maybe took 25 seconds. All they needed was a ladder, a level, and a piece of rope
