I completely agree, but that just supports what I'm saying. It won't go under the recruiting column in the budget. Hell, paying highschool coaches to come to camps probably doesn't either, but we do that every year and probably dish out just as much money as anyone else in this area considering all the local highschools we need to stay in the good graces of. The recruiting budget is a direct reflection of 1) how much travel costs your coaches use to visit recruits and 2) how much it costs to pay a recruit and their family's cost on an official visit. When three quarters of the class lives in your state, it's not hard to see why those specific costs are lower for LSU, even if you do hit OOS hard. That's why Tennessee spends a fortune every year, there's not jack shite for local talent there.

I just want more talent evaluators hired and a bigger recruiting staff.
