Putting aside the homicide , this shite pisses me off.
Putting aside the strong armed robbery for a moment, it was ultimately Brown and Johnson's inability to adhere to a basic fundamental respect for public safety, like walking down a sidewalk, that led to all of this.

The lack of respect is fundamental to most of problems for that community.

Are you telling me you've never jaywalked and that anyone who has is some sort of societal misfit/

I imagine Mr Dorian Johnson will think twice about walking down the middle of the street when a perfectly good sidewalk is available.

This is bullshite. Johnson didn't have an encounter with Wilson since he did move out the street as he was told. Furthermore, it's common for people who run and bike to use the street instead of the sidewalk, and this crosses all socio-economic spectrums.

Also when people bike they are supposed to be in the roadway. Runners are supposed to stay off the roadway but you rarely see one in a roadway unless it's a quiet neighborhood street.

There were sidewalks on both sides of the street where Brown was shot. Had he used either once of them he probably is alive today. Sometimes, it simply comes down to fundamental respect for for doing the right thing.

We ready to agree this dude needs to be prosecuted yet?

His going on tv and blatantly lying multiple times played a big role in getting this shitshow going.

I agree with this.

When I run, I never run on the sidewalk, because usually the surface is too uneven, but I always yield to vehicular traffic. Brown's problem wasn't walking in the street, his problem was that he got confrontational when Wilson told him to get out off the street, instead of adhering to the Chris Rock rules, and even if Wilson is tried, convicted and imprisoned, Brown's still going to be dead.

No, but perhaps the close-minded folks are. Why not wait for the facts and evidence to be presented before jumping to conclusions.

No problem. Thanks for the update on it.

Fuhrman fricked up and should have been indicted and held accountable. Which is how I feel about Brown's friend according to how things appear at this particular moment.

There's a pretty big difference between telling a lie in open court under oath and lying/being mistaken about an event in the immediate aftermath of said event.

Like someone already mentioned, you charge him here and you might as well kiss anyone ever telling the police anything again goodbye-- if you can be charged for telling cops what you saw and being wrong about it what's next charging people for being mistaken on 911 calls?

With all the conflicting eyewitness accounts being reported, I don't think Darren Wilson needs to worry too much about Dorian Johnson, because five or six conflicting accounts is just as good as five or six accounts that all agree with his account, because a bunch of conflicting accounts just confuses juries, and juries don't convict when they're confused.

Yep. The eyewitness and social media are the primary reasons the situation in Ferguson disintegrated into chaos. You'd think after Justin Harris, people would be wary of rushing to judgement before facts are gathered but I suppose it's the age we live in.

Yes he can for falsifying a police report. Will he be......I highly doubt it due to politics. The DOJ will STRONGLY SUGGEST to the PD that they not charge this idiot.

Make no mistake he lied about other things as well in his original statement as well. Everything will come out.

We don't know what he said in his official statement, we just know what he's been saying to the media.
