Just buy one at lowes. Use it. Clean it. Return it if you can't find one for rent. I have a corded hitachi with a hammer setting and one of my dewalt 20v has a rotary hammer setting. Anything over 1/4" I use the corded drill. You can get the Hitachi for around $80 I believe.
