That second map won't happen.
But if we're going strictly on geography, it should look something like this:
NFC West--Seattle, San Fran, Arizona, Dallas
AFC West--Oakland, San Diego, Denver, Kansas City
NFC South--New Orleans, St. Louis, Atlanta, Tampa Bay
AFC South--Miami, Jacksonville, Tenn., Houston
NFC North--Minny, Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit
AFC North--Cleveland, Indy, Pitt, Cincy
NFC East--Philly, NYG, Wash., Carolina
AFC East-- New England, NYJ, Baltimore, Buffalo
