Brown either just graduated from high school or obtained a GED. It would be interesting to hear from his former teachers or other authority figures regarding his behavior and whether he has a history of an oppositional-defiant nature. The type of behavior he displayed toward the store owner doesn't typically start happening spontaneously at the age of 18.

This would actually be the third autopsy. Brown family attorney said the family had also gotten an autopsy done on body. Guess two autopsies that don't corroborate their story means they need a third one. Sigh, this country is in so much trouble....

That's why I'm thinking drugs. No way the community would rise up for someone who acted like that all the time.

Rooting? This was a tragic event and I am looking for the truth. Who the hell would root as if this is a sporting event? As for myself I made a comment based on a video I saw and that was it. Did my observation favor the officer? Yes, had I seen blood covering the back of his shirt I would have made an observation that wasn't so favorable to the cop.
The thing that bothers me is that I don't trust the DOJ being able to give a neutral look at anything. Especially since Holder is in charge, he is hardly an objective leader.

One thing the video does accomplish is make it a lot more believable that Brown acted aggressively towards the Wilson, and that he was acting in self-defense. I think the police department was predictably circling the wagons to save Wilson, when they made the decision to release the video.

Not knowing Mizzou I have no idea if it's similar to LA (dropouts/too old/trouble kids). Of course he said he was a great kid etc... Maybe he was at that school, but CNN wouldn't interview anyone that portrayed him negatively.

Some people are tribalistic like that as whites. Personally, I am honestly starting to feel aggrieved as a white person. I don't like that so many people now believe there is no way I can be honest and objective about a situation like this. I hear that sort of thing all the time these days.

After seeing the community attack the shop where brown committed the robbery, no way I would risk my life as a member of the community by saying something negative against him. This is like dealing with the mafia.

Don't you know that all people are great, honest, loyal, loving, kind, compassionate, smart, generous, etc. It's always the other guy that is the opposite. It's really amazing that we have any killers, thieves,

Maybe, but it's a tough call with the limited information. That's why I think it would be interesting to hear from some authority figures who have spent significant time with MB in the past. If the oppositional-defiant behavior is a recent trait with him, it could stem from drug use, peer pressure, home situation, or a number of other things as well. It's hard to say but I'm guessing there's some extraneous factors at play that might perhaps come out if it ends up in court, which most likely will happen.

They didn't do that for Zimmerman so doubt they do it here. Internet sleuths and the defense are the only ones seeking the truth.

I think we all have tribalistic tendencies, but some of us make no effort to suppress these tendencies and some of us do. Many White folks are troubled by the reaction of some Black folks when the OJ was found not guilty, but Black folks of age have seen the flip side of tribalism like when Jackson, MS held a parade to honor Byron De La Beckwith after an all-White jury let him walk and the spontaneous celebrations that erupted among White Southerners when MLK was assassinated. The world would be a lot more peaceful if everybody tried to suppress their tribal tendencies rather then revel in them.
