That's easy for a 20 something bachelor to say, but he mentioned some have 20+ years with the company which puts them probably in their mid 40s.... They're probably pretty settled in.

These guys are in their 50's and 60's.

Firing people blows, especially if you've spent any appreciable time with them. I'm a naturally empathetic individual, which serves me well in sales, but it makes it difficult to put people I know in difficult personal situations. Bottom line though is...well, the bottom line and if the black could have been blacker and it's through a direct failure to perform then, yeah, they gone (with the proper paper trail of course )
