He's actually one that I didn't think would be very good when he was coming into the NFL. He runs very stiff and doesn't have great vision. He's strong and fast but just isn't a fluid runner.

Vision is the worst.

And his big move in college - was a freakin' spin move. And he got way too comfortable - "taking his time" behind Bama's line.

So that now, he takes a hand-off and then pauses to take a picture of what's in front of him - do a little shimmy...stumble into his own blocker...and then last minute realize - "oh shite, these guys are good in the NFL."

His Bama career was the parting of the Red Sea - first guy to touch him 10 yards down field.

Trent was incredible in college. Seems like he just needs to find his rhythm in the NFL. Else, he gonna be the Tebow of RB's.

If by rhythm...you mean, playing the Citadel and Youngstown State....

Yeah...not gonna happen...or having holes so wide you could drive a Buick through them.

Not gonna happen either.

He was never that good in college. His line was great.

Nah...Trent had that too.

Maybe it's a taught Bama thing.

But Trent's highlight reel is spinning.

Lacy has been doing the spin move since high school and Richardson's "spin move" should not be mentioned in the same breath as Lacy's.

I think this is why Ingram and Richardson have kind of been busts so far. They weren't bad RBs, but neither were they anything special. They just looked All World running behind that line and got hyped up beyond where they should have.

Ingram finished strong last year and has looked solid in preseason. Maybe he can still have a successful career. If TRich follows a similar development pattern, maybe he'll be solid in a couple years as well.

Watching the preseason game and this guy is fricking awful What the hell happened to him. He blew last year, everyone blamed it on the new "system" and he would have a better year this year... Dude dances more than a drunk Olympic ice skater. pathetic Did he undergo a sex change in the offseason or something? I need answers people

Up voted. Seems a lot of Bama standouts are cloaked in failure.
