Well that's a difference.

Also what we have is your account of unnamed person who wasn't a witness but allegedly a friend of the cop giving an interview to some unnamed radio station. Do I have that right? I can't count how many levels of hearsay that is.

And then we have the police dept's account which says nothing about Brown running away then turning and charging.

As I said in the other thread the full autopsy results will clear a lot of these questions. How many times he was shot? From what distances? What parts of his body was shot? Was he facing the cop or turned away?

Get those answers and you'll know which account t believe.

did a radio interview.

I've heard that. But that's not the cops actual version.

Obviously, VB... I said that there were differences. I just don't think the two accounts are as dissimilar as you apparently do.

In both accounts, MB was fighting with the cop in the car. Both of them said that he ran away, and then charged the cop again. In both accounts he is ultimately killed while running towards the cop. Basically, the only difference is when the first of NUMEROUS shots are fired.

Like I said before... Hopefully justice will be done regardless of the outcome.

They haven't released the official police version yet. The radio interview was essentially a friend of the police officer giving the cop's unofficial account (taken from Wilson's wife). I have no idea how accurate it is. Hopefully we'll get an official statement soon.

Had he stopped and surrendered, he'd just be in custody for the store robbery.

My understanding is the officer was unaware of the robbery.

That being said. A cop tells me to do something I'm apt to comply.

What if you had just robbed a store within the past 20 minutes? Do you know how you would react?

That is a large part of the equation here.

Was listening to Fox this morn, and the Black LE guy who is on the scene, said that he had "new info"...in that he had talked to one of the cops and they said that it was a "bad shooting". I.e., that it was not justifiable. On that, I don't think Wilson will slide; at the least he'll be hit hard in a Civil action (like OJ), if not found criminally negligent.

One thing is for sure...this will likely be the last time that some Authority in charge drags the information release out, just to get their 15 minutes of face time on National Media. That is bs!

That is your interpretation. He didn't say that is was unjustifiable, just a lot of questions to be asked and answered before a conclusion can be reached.

They can't both be right.

Uh, they are both right. It's the sequence of events.

1- After learning of the robbery, Wilson goes back to Brown

2- Wilson tried to exit his vehicle, but Brown slams the door closed him

3- A struggle ensues wherein Wilson gets the door open, Brown goes for the gun and the gun discharges

4- Brown runs and Wilson gives chase

5- Brown doubles back and charges Wilson, wherein Wilson fires several shots killing Brown
