I know this is more of a casting thread, but I noticed another instance in which things were one way early then changed later. In an early episode, they were talking about showering. When, they turned to Kramer to offer his input, he said he takes baths. Then in later seasons, Kramer makes a comment that baths are disgusting since you are stewing in your own filth. Also, Kramer has an entire episode in which his main focus is being in the shower.
