As an Astros fan with no real dog in the fight, I love the idea of both the Orioles and Royals making the playoffs. October baseball in Kauffman Stadium and Camden Yards is awesome. Such great venues and atmospheres and it translates through the TV.

SHHHHHHHH!!!!

Don't jinx it! Say nothing! The O's are doomed! Doomed, I say! They will regress any second now. It's all luck, don't you know? It will run out.

I went to the playoff game in Arlington two years ago and after the game I just wandered around the stadium, grinning. I couldn't believe the O's ever got good again.

Don't forget the best venue of all -- PNC Park.

You know what would be really awesome? Pirates vs. Orioles in the World Series. With throwback uniforms from 1979. And the Pirates winning Game 7 in Baltimore and playing "We Are Fam-A-Lee" in the clubhouse.
