When will leagues start going with the 2 QB format?

Parity at the QB position has diminished the value of QBs in the fantasy game. As it stands now, teams wait and take QBs in the later rounds of the draft. Everyone gets a good one in 10-12 teams leagues. These QBs are big time scorers and have a huge impact of the game, yet they are treated like a TE when it comes to drafting. This is not the case for RBs and WRs, who are "valued" and go early and often and dominate the picks in the first few rounds of a draft. Why are RBs and WRs valued so much more? Well, obviously because you need to start at least 2 of them plus fill a flex. They are put at a premium.
In a 2 QB league, one is forced to grab one of the legit QBs early in order to solidify the position, much like the RB and WR positions. It brings more strategy into play as well. A guy like Tony Romo, who is consistently a top 10 QB, scoring 300+ points a season, is a 10th round pick in regular league? Does that sound right?
As we stand now, a lot of advanced leagues are going with the "Super Flex" position. Which is basically an extra flex where you can play RB/WR/TE/QB... some are even allowing you to play an extra K or DEF if you want. I think in order to keep the fantasy game fresh, we have to currently adapt to the NFL. It's a QB driven league, yet QBs aren't valued in fantasy. 2 QBs may sound weird now, but everyone said the same thing when people starting getting away from their 10 team, standard scoring leagues. People were reluctant to change to PPR or auction format or play in 14 team leagues... we may have to open up to this 2 QB system.

We have always had a 2 QB system in a PPC league (point per completion). It is fricking awesome is all I can say. Points flying all over. I will say, it would be tough for a league with over 10 teams however. We have 10 teams and cap it at 3 QB's per team (obviously). 12 team league x 2 qb's = 24 qb's. Only 8 qb's left for bench spot for injury/bye wk. It pretty much impossible over 10 teams. You are right, it does change the draft strategy completely. In the first two rounds (snake), I would say 8 qb's are taken.
Brees
Manning
Rodgers
Romo
Ryan
Stafford
Luck
Rivers
All in first 2-2.5 rds typically. Guys like Dalton, Ben, Cutler are very valuable as no.2's and that's where the advantage comes in as far as 2 QB system. Generally everyone will have stud at no.1 QB spot, so the no.2 is where you gain the advantage if you have a top 15 guy.

Start a new 14 team, PPR, Superflex, auction, keeper league.

when I started in 1999 we rolled with 2 QB's.
None of my leagues do it now, but I wouldn't mind going back to it in at least one league.
I can see the point of it making QB's valuable again.

We did auction leagues in the '80's.
Back to your point, I think this could be interesting. Start a new league with a superflex and I'm in.

I have no interest in it. I think tdfl's settings are perfect.

I'm playing in a league that allows QB flex for the first time this year. It's my biggest money league. I'm excited about it. Don't really know what to expect for the draft but it definitely makes you consider different strategies.
