Not allowed in because it is "too efficient"? No.
More likely because the car hasn't been subjected to the various tests required to drive the car legally in this country, such as emissions requirements.
Look up the stories on people who have Land Rovers being seized by the government because they were a model year which wasn't on the government's approved list.
