2008 florida game. Fastest team ive ever seen

Who'd they have that was faster than us?

Harvin, Rainey, and Demps were all fast but we had Trindon, PP7, and Byrd.

If you are asking this question then I doubt you ever watched the game. Its not like if you have 3 fast guys that cancels out their 3 faster guys...

Their corners, Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins are the fastest corner tandem I have ever seen. Brandon Spikes at LB was all over the feild.... And on offense, they were running all around us

Team speed is more about quickness and lateral mobility in your big guys than it is about straight line speed in your small guys.

Florida's Dunlap and Cunningham were very quick and mobile DEs. These guys could set the edges to force you inside, or chase you down if you bounce it outside. They held LSU to 80 yards rushing and sacked the QB twice in 2008.

That's where the "speed" comes from that coaches complain about. It isn't about the Percy Harvin's of the world, its about the Carlos Dunlaps.
