not acting like he didn't change the game ... not acting like he's absolutely done ... not acting like he's not a great golfer ...

do you people read? ... ... golf will be fine with or without tiger woods ... the game is not in desperate need of him ...

The Golf Channel's "expert" was on D.Patrick this morning & he said that Wood's ongoing problems with his back originates with his swing. He said that watching it in slo mo with a back specialist, without getting too medically technical, that the way he swings now puts a lot of pressure on his mid to lower back & as long as he continues to swing this way, his back problems not only won't go away but could get worse. The specialist said there was no doubt in his mind that this was a major problem for Woods.Course, he then made the typical cover-my-arse comment that it went without saying he had never examined Woods, so......"

So we are coming off one of the most entertaining majors in the recent years and Tiger didn't even make the cut.

Golf will be just fine without him. That's truth. I just want to know when his book comes out. The actual truth starring me Tiger. May be the first book I ever read.

Tiger has always been a mediocre RC player. He couldn't care less about a team event. I always felt he was there because Nike, Buick, et al strongly "encouraged" him to participate.

Per the Hank Haney book he loves the team events (Presidents and Ryder Cups). I also remember his jumping fist pump when Leonard sunk the 40 fter vs. Olazabal @ Brookline.

I think his personality is so mechanical it make people think he didn't like the events.

This record was bleh, but I'd still take him in a singles match over anyone if he's 100% healthy.
