I understand the debate between talent and experience. Reasonable people might disagree on which is more important. What I do not understand is how the same sportswriter will suggest that LSU will be a work in progress because they are young, but then look at Alabama, a team replacing almost the same number of players, and claim that they are favorites because they are talented. You can't have it both ways. This is just lazy biased sports writing.

eh, well it's mainly because we're replacing all our best skill guys on offense. alabama is just replacing their quarterback. we received the same respect in 2007. we lost the #1 overall draft pick at quarterback, returned most everyone else on offense, and started the season top 3 and a national title favorite.
