Actually I would be in favor of this if you did it backwards....start at the 40...then move it in as the OT periods start to mount.

It would seem to me that if you keep moving it back, it makes it harder to score, which would mean more OT's in the same game. If you start back...and move closer, it increases the scoring chances and keeps the game from going too many OT's.

or it just lets each team score over and over.

I have never liked the 25 always thought it should be the 35.

But now i really like the start at 25 then move back 5 each time. But i would make it to where you only move back 5 on a Multi scoring OT session.

So OT1 both teams score a TD move back 5 yards.
OT2 neither team scores, ball doesnt get moved back.
That way you dont get back to like the 40 and neither team can score and you just keep moving 5 yards back each time
