Do all players really need fall camp?
Rashard Robertson came in and played without camp.

Took him a few weeks to get up to speed but I also think he is very special. We also had the 2 Jalen's back and most people did not see Tre White and RR passing both of them up.
Valentine may be needed and he needs camp for the coaches to know if he is ready. Just my 2 cents.

Robinson is a future first round NFL draft pick and an exception. I doubt he's ready to start playing right away as well

CBs are different, they can play their first year in the college, mostly because you can be naturally talented and defend receivers.

How many true freshman DTs do you see? Compare that to how many true freshman CBs we've played in the past 4 years

he wasn't ready to really contribute much until the A&M game and wasn't ready to play significant minutes in a zone scheme until the bowl game...
