Dan Morris, a writer for the Jackson Sun has downplayed LSU in two of his articles on the SEC Network.

After all, who could stand to miss seeing a second of action when Lamar plays Texas A&M or Sam Houston State visits LSU?

We're just glad Charter got on board with the SEC Network. Now its customers at least have the option of watching Sam Houston State at LSU or turning to Andy Griffith reruns, the latter of which will probably be the better choice.

I'm sorry but I kinda agree with mr. Morris on that one. I mean honestly what's your counter argument?

I guess Ole Miss bringing in Presbyterian or miss st playing Tennessee Martin isn't worthy of comment?

Is anyone seriously offended by this? Who gives a flying shite? The guy is saying we are going to beat the shite out of SHSU. The shite some of people get your tampons bunched up over is pretty funny.

Well, here's a sure fire way to solve the problem even tho it will never happen. Miles lets LF sling it in front of the student section. Don't think it will be boring then.

Not really sure how that's hating on LSU. Nobody outside of LSU wants to watch that game. And even some LSU fans don't want to.

He couldn't find a team who plays State or Ole Miss low enough to call it an easy game.

Who really cares? I've finally come to the point where the SEC West itself is like a 12 game schedule. Add in UF every year, some years two top 3 SEC East teams, and at least one top 20 ranked opponent, and you have a recipe for a top 25 national schedule. Doesn't matter if you have one loss, you should get into the playoff by default.

Even if Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, and FSU are undefeated, a SEC champion will, for the foreseeable future, be perceived as a top 4 team.

ETA: If this is about just good or boring games then that's simple too. If you are a diehard LSU fan, you watch every game. I mean, what's the difference between a blowout opponent if it's some crappy arse FBS team or any FCS team?

I mean is a top team against Rice supposed to be good entertainment? What about against Buffalo or UMASS? Akron, Memphis, Temple, Wake Forest, Purdue? East, West, Central Michigan? New Mexico, or maybe Toledo, or how about Texas State, South Alabama, and Georgia State? Maybe even FAU or FIU, or maybe even UAB, UTEP and UTSA. Those are all FBS programs (Georgia State formally this year) that other teams pile on their schedule and say "we don't play FCS teams". Look, EVERYBODY plays heavily out matched opponents at least three times a year, at...the...least, I repeat.

Really, are many people outside the SEC watching us play Kentucky? Or say Ohio State playing Purdue, or Oklahoma playing Iowa State. FSU vs Wake Forest or let's say Stanford vs pre Mike Leach Washington State?

He isn't wrong. No one outside of LSU or Sam Houston State fans want to see the game. The SEC Network is great for us as fans, but to anyone outside of the SEC footprint I seriously doubt they could give shite less about anything but the marquee match ups.

What's the dude supposed to do? Pretend he gives a shite about LSU/Sam Houston State?

Even I have a hard time pretending I give a shite about it.

Totally agree. Apparently LSU AD agrees too. Selling tix at half price on Living Social. Also 80,000 ticket holders will agree by half time. He makes a great point.

Once again a Rantard misinterprets hate for truth.
