Meh! I do like the Lorde playing in the background. Why the music? Is it to try to mimic the noise and distractions during a game? Does it help players learn to concentrate when there is noise in the background like bands, music, crowd noise?

Talking smack before the first game of the season is meaningless. Both teams will be raw and make first game mistakes.

Has nothing to do with that. From the get-go, Coach Andersen has simply wanted to lighten up practices, for lack of a better term.
