Write them a letter.
For real?
What type of official steps should I undertake with this letter? Should I see a notary or anything before this letter?
Should I get my intellectual property copyright?
How realized does the game have to be? Could it just be written? Does it have to be written in length? What about visuals (What if the visuals are copyright themselves?)? Coding? Working concept?
Basically: To what extent do I need to flesh out the idea to communicate it to Nintendo to get them to bite? And how do I make sure this idea isn't scooped by anyone else?
P.S.

Game is not about rocks, but it does rock.
