re: What were your thoughts when Nixon won the nomination in 68 after losing in 60?

I remember celebrating after hearing of Nixons victory, then being sadly disappointed when the shite hit the fan. My dad had to watch all of the watergate stuff, when I complained he told me that we hadn't impeached a president in a hundred years and he was watching it dammit.
