I think it could be used as a recruiting tool for bigger schools. "Hey, if you come here you will make way more money with your names on jerseys, etc" of course if a kid is good enough for people to care about buying things with his name or likeness he is probably going to a bigger school anyway.

Wilken still allowing NCAA to set restrictions on how much athletes can earn while in school is why this isn't that bad for NCAA.
