Those other schools that Moses would like to look at have already been identified. Florida State, Texas and Alabama have each caught his attention since his commitment.

“I went to Florida State and it just opened up my eyes a lot,” he said. “That was my first time visiting Florida State. I went three or four weeks ago. It’s a beautiful campus and a beautiful place. That’s another place I can see myself at.

“With Texas, when I go there, the Texas campus is like a small town. It’s very big, everything is big. The coaching staff is very great. I love Coach (Charlie) Strong. He’s a very cool guy. I like them too.

“Alabama, I’ve always loved them. They were like my next love after LSU. Also they were the second team to offer me. I have a good relationship with the coaching staff. they’re really good and they always roll out the red carpet for me when I’m over there.”

well he's not wrong obviously, those programs do have a lot to offer. Austin is a very cool town, FSU does have a nice campus, and if you love pine straw and racism, Tuscaloosa is paradise, but I think we're good here.

he can stay home and play for an elite program, he can play for titles, and he'll be coached by the Chief, one of the greatest linebacker coaches the game has ever seen. it's everything a player could ask for on a personal and (future) professional level.

i think signing Garrett last year was a blessing, I think he'll get famous very quickly and Moses will see what a linebacker can really be at LSU under the Chief.

A very proud moment for both father and son, and the entire family which simply exudes class.

What if KT and big Ed finish #1 in their classes.

LF
KT
Edwin Alexander
And then DM the GOAT

It's looking like at least 4 other 2017 Louisiana prospects are going to be ranked in 247s early Top 100.

I didn't know OP was Dylan's father, but that makes a lot of sense. Then again, I don't follow this board too closely. Congrats to the whole Moses family!

When Nicky shows Dylan copies of the bonus money checks CJ Mosely, Donta Hightower, and Ro McClain received as first round draft choices he might like Bama even more.

So is Moses not committed anymore? I distinctly remember Papa Moses coming on here and saying once he was committed somewhere he would never break that UNLESS Miles leaves....so what the hell?

I am happy for moses and the family. It's a great honor to be #1

With that being said, 2017 is a long long way away. I can't get too excited about the boom because the way they change player rankings (numerous times a year) and the way kids change their minds on commitments... well...it's not really going to be much fun for fans that follow this stuff.

An atomic bomb to me is 2 5 star guys committing for this year!!! My expectations are high

Again, very happy for Moses and his family...

Same here, im happy for the kid and his proud family, but the way this was built up left a lot of us kinda disappointed because we already knew the kid stood a good chance of being the top recruit anyway.
