Ok, so I'm getting much closer. But now my copy tool isn't working to let me clean up some of the lines.
Any idea why?
I merged all the layers thinking that would solve it, but didn't. It wasn't working when they were separated either.

Hold Crtl and click the area you want copy. It should leave a selection behind where you clicked and a selection following where you move the cursor.
