God damn it DJ, wrap up.

Terrence Magee was one of the standouts from the first full-contact drills, running straight through a D.J. Welter arm tackle.

Was that the 1-on-1 goal line drill?
Every offensive player beat the defensive player, FWIW.

So proud of Terrence. I knew when he started over Brandon Taylor at rb for an up and coming Franklinton team that he'd be special one day. FHS lost to Bastrop and RR that year (on the same day LSU lost the Ar-Kansas and DMAC in double OT) but went on to play for two state titles. Lost one to Diarse/Neville and won the next one over Karr.
Once arriving at LSU, it seemed like every year Coach Miles would recognize him as someone who impressed during spring practices but he never got the touches in a loaded backfield.
Now it really appears to be his time to shine. All his hard work and patience has really earned him respect of everyone (even Buga himself) and he'll shine this year and pass to torch to LF7!
Well done #18!

I know it makes you internet tough guys feel important to rip on Welter, and I am sure that all of you were all state and played D-1 ball but I have to ask you, why do you think Chavis played Welter so much? Maybe it was because we had no one better?!? He led the team in tackles for Christ's sake! Most importantly, he is one of ours!!. In the future when you feel the need to act like a dick to one of our players, do this instead.

2) die in it
