But the heavy hitting, super expense stuff that allows for mass automation and goods creation (large scale AI systems, etc), I'd imagine, will continue to be an area that only those with enough resources can afford.
Look at something like codecademy.com you can learn code for free. That used to require a college education. Now... It's free. Hard to beat that. There is simply NO EXCUSE to be ignorant and unskilled today. None.
That is a FANTASTIC opportunity for the lower and middle classes to better themselves. All it takes is initiative. It's there for the taking.

I love codecademy. I've got a CS minor, but needed to brush up on my skills for my most recent position. Codecademy allowed me to re-learn what I needed, and also allowed me to teach myself Python relatively quickly.
Really cool service.
