Grease the poles. No need to harm the coons

Nothing on earth will keep them from getting to that corn.

I have pictures of them standing one on top of another to make a ladder so that the top coon can reach the feeder and throw out corn for his buddies. Those jokers are smart.

I was thinking about using some axle grease, but didn't know if they could still climb.

I don't think the tacks will harm them too badly, probably poke their greedy little paws.
