Yeah, if I were running a studio I would for certain make your fricking movie over a superhero one.
I'd put out a god damned superhero movie every week and never look back.

Marvel's last two efforts have elevated the genre in my opinion. But I sorta of agree that as a whole the genre has become generic and cliche-ridden - same plot devices, same rehashed jokes, same action beats, etc.
Not much different than cliche-filled romcoms that people bash.
