Stability costs money, and the return is enormous. It is no accident that the US went from Isolationist to 19 aircraft carriers.

UK currently has 0 aircraft carriers

The 1 reminaing has been turned into an assault ship

2 will be ready in '16 though.

Sad state of affairs for the country who had the biggest and best navy in the world back when those things mattered

I agree, we should take that money and spend it on programs like EBT and welfare.
