But neither you nor anyone else knows what other people's "real feelings" are unless you're claiming to be psychic.

If a person says that he only hates one group of people that engages in certain behavior, that's clearly bigoted, but if a person says he hates all people that engage in that behavior, that's not.
Examples:
I hate Black people who listen to rap music. (bigoted)
I hate people who listen to loud music in their cars. (not bigoted)
