It doesn't matter what a Rabbi in NY thinks.

But civilians in Gaza, like civilians in Japan during WWII, civilians in Germany in WWII, and civilians in the South in the Civil War, etc. pay a price for supporting a govt. that is fighting a war and eventually if the war comes to their homeland there will be civilian deaths.

Hamas was elected by the civilians in Gaza. They are building tunnels in Gaza communities. They are fortifying Gaza communities and firing rockets throughout these communities.

These civilians are responsible for a certain extent for letting this happen just as Japanese civilians, and German civilians were in WWII.

It is unfortunate, but its a fact of life.

I follow you, but do you also believe Israeli civilians are fair game in this war? What about American civilians whenever we're at war with another country? Does your rationale apply to the civilians of all nations that are at war?
