No. No he wasn't. There were two problems. First, a lack of pressure. Second, our safeties were confused. Our corners play a lot of man, but usually they are in zone. Know why? Because if you play man enough that the other team can predict it they will kill you.

When in zone the corner sometimes has strong safety support and sometimes not. When he doesn't he's vulnerable to outs and hooks. When he does, he'll jump those routes. When he's supposed to, but the safety blows the assignment, you might get a corner jumping the short route only to see the receiver running up the sideline with the corner behind him - "beat" to the casual fan (BigEdLSU, ALTiger). But the coach knows the safety was supposed to be there.

I'm never going to win this argument, because when Mills is picked in the third round (or higher) the mouth breathers will say it was because he switched positions. The real reason is that he's very good.
