You left off Iron Man 3.
What they did to Mandarin was the absolute biggest FINGER to the comic fans. I don't see how they could one up that screw-up.
Make Captain America a pedophile. I guess that is the only thing that could top taking a Tier 1 villain and making him a bumbling idiot.

Have you rewatched this yet?
I HATED that at first, but rewatching it, it made more sense (there's that rewatching thing). I think it was simply expectations. If they never teased Mandarin, I'm not sure I'm upset.
I also think the big problem is that Kingsley's version of Mandarin was terrifying and awesome. THAT was a big problem when you pull the rug out from under the audience.
