Never been to Santa Fe though
Plus....you can drive less than 45 minutes north up to Flagstaff and walk around their little downtown area. Just an awesome little town and more great hiking trails there.

I agree, Sedona is the better choice just due to it's proximity to Flagstaff. Jerome/Clarksdale is a pretty cool quirky little area too.
