I think he's a doofus, but he may very well get it. He checks a lot of boxes for the GOP. He's good looking, talks tough. He'll recover from "oops" - the question is will he have another "oops" moment.

Honestly, I 'm afraid Rand is going to gaffe b/c he's an off-the-cuff kind of guy. This is what people like about him but it can get you into trouble in a 2 year long presidential campaign. It takes discipline.
