But do you think they update the practice facility locker room?

What's wrong with it?

Recruiting has become harder and harder, plenty of schools have about the same if not more to offer. Which is why i laugh at the fact that we should sign everybody and that its easy to recruit here. No, when you have schools like Cincinnati with brand new every thing, you have to keep up. We will continue to do so, but it also helps to have guys like Miles and Wilson selling the program. Every top school has nice facilities.

what A&M is doing is really scary

Nebraska has high tech, slick facilities. Our facilities are excellent. We will always have great facilities. Creating a country club, pampered environment will lead to soft, entitled attitudes for some kids. These are the kids that will be wooed by A&M. You can't buy what LSU is about. We will always be a tougher, blue collar type team that enjoys imposing our will on weak minded opponents. A&M fits that bill perfectly.

Les just said this week that the next project is a new high-end dining hall and living quarters facility for athletes to be built on the old Alex Box site.

So, yeah, we're still keeping up with the Joneses in terms of facilities. The improvement never stops.

What's wrong with WCA? So the athletes are getting new living quarters? Or just football players?

It looks nice and I personally don't think there is anything wrong with that locker room but it's from a recruiting stand point that I am looking at it. Ohio state also just got some new locker rooms and they're nice. We just just in a couple of years need to update it and the players lounge. I'll take Texas A&Ms though over OSU they seem to have no locker room space. But here's a look

We are also in the process of designing a new nutrition center for student-athletes. It will pretty much be a cafeteria strictly for student athletes, which will allow individual meal plans for each individual athlete. I believe it will be where the old Alex Box was.

Not worried about it
With the SEC network coming online, LSU will make sure they are in line with anyone else in the SEC.
Once they start construction on the nutrition center and athletic living area around old Alex Box, you can bet those facilities will be top notch

Looking at those picks above, we are due for some upgrades. Looks very bland.

I mean it's not bad, it just looks bland.

LSU and Alleva may need to do some upgrades here soon to the football ops building to keep up with A&m and Alabama. Tennesee's is nice and new as well. This is a facility war.

The A&M and Ohio State locker rooms are pretty awesome. As a poster just stated, ours is looking pretty bland in comparison. What I noticed about both A&M and OSU's locker rooms are the darker colors, more hard core look, newer lighting technology throughout. Overall just a slicker look. I'm sure we will upgrade in the near future. The athletics dining facility is going to be a big draw. Miles said the chefs will be able to tailor meals to the athletes needs there. Also going to build athletics housing there as well. Alleva said that 10 to 12 million dollars needs to be raised for this, so not sure when they'll be able to start on the project.

I'd rate us as fourth in the SEC now behind Bama and TAMU Tennessee.

ETA: After just seeing UF's facilities youtube, I'd give us the nod over them and take UF off. I think Arkansas had has had an upgrade like last year. I should check there's out too.

It's cyclical...Ours was goat a few years back, then others caught up, now we will catch back up or surpass. Construction takes time so it's like 2 year intervals
