So Houston vs Shreveport. I can't really comment on either one of those.

Generally no, as a lot of people do that especially when they're first starting out. (Unless the company is committing to training you a bunch with the expectation that you'll stay with them for a long time.)

That's the kicker...when I spoke with their VP recently, he said it's a 3-6mo "Internship" at their BR location during my last year and then they'd make a business decision to decide to bring me on full time. Salary based on amount worked during my last part-time semester, long-term implications
