What cities? Is there a difference in cost of living and would the salary difference make up for that?

Solid job is in Houston (where I'm from), but really good job would be in Shreveport. I'm from BR originally before moving to and eventually growing up (for the most part) in Houston, so I'd be able to be near my family too
ETA: Would it look terrible to work for that company for a few years then make the move if the opportunity is standing?
